Everything Your Dynasty League Needs.
Nothing You Don't.
Dynasty Desk is purpose-built for dynasty fantasy football leagues with salary caps. Every feature below was designed specifically for dynasty — not bolted onto a redraft platform as an afterthought.
Contract & Salary Cap Management
The core of dynasty. Handled automatically.
Dynasty Desk tracks every player contract across your entire league — automatically. Standard contracts run 1–4 years at a commissioner-configured salary. Before each season, GMs lock holdover players into multi-year deals. The platform enforces the salary cap in real time, preventing any team from exceeding their budget on trades, signings, or waivers.
- Standard contracts: 1, 2, 3, or 4-year terms configurable per league
- Holdover lock window before each season — GMs choose contract length
- Live cap sheet per team: active salary, dead cap, FAAB, and remaining cap space
- Cap violations auto-blocked on trades and waiver claims
- Full contract history — every deal, extension, and release on record
Dead Cap Tracking
The penalty for bad contracts. Calculated automatically.
When a GM releases or trades a player with years left on their contract, the platform automatically calculates and applies the dead cap penalty. Dead cap counts against the team's total salary cap — even though the player is no longer on the roster. This mechanism mirrors real NFL cap management and makes long-term contracts genuinely consequential.
- Dead cap auto-applied when a player is released mid-contract
- Configurable dead cap percentage per league (e.g., 50% of remaining value)
- Dead cap visible on each team's cap sheet at all times
- Trade cap hit transfers: contracts move to the new team automatically
Restricted Free Agent (RFA) System
Protect your best expiring assets. Match any offer.
The RFA designation gives teams a matching right on players whose contracts have expired. A team designates a player as an RFA before the free agency auction. If another team bids for that player, the original team can match the offer and retain them — or let them walk and receive draft pick compensation. Each team gets 1–2 designations per offseason (commissioner-configurable).
- Commissioner sets number of RFA designations per team per offseason
- RFA-designated players enter the FA auction with matching rights intact
- Matching window: original team sees the winning bid and can accept or decline
- If declined: player goes to winning bidder; compensation picks auto-assigned
- League-wide RFA status visible to all GMs for strategic planning
Franchise Tag & Contract Extensions
One nuclear option per offseason. Use it wisely.
The franchise tag prevents a key player from entering free agency at contract expiry. Instead of hitting the auction, the player receives a 1-year extension at a position-based market rate — significant but survivable. Each team gets one franchise tag per offseason. The platform also supports 1-year contract extensions for more flexibility when the tag's cost is prohibitive.
- One franchise tag per team per offseason
- Position-based market rate: configurable by commissioner per position
- Tag salary counts against cap like any standard contract
- 1-year extension: alternative to the tag at a negotiated rate
- Both tools available only during the commissioner-set offseason window
Live FAAB Free Agency Auction
Real-time bidding. Cap-validated. Commissioner-controlled.
The Dynasty Desk auction room runs a live, real-time FAAB bidding process for the offseason free agency period. Any GM can nominate a player to the auction floor. Bids are validated against available cap space before they're accepted. The platform handles the closing window, bid notifications, winner assignment, and contract creation automatically.
- Real-time bidding — see all bids as they happen
- Cap validation: bids that would exceed team cap are blocked
- Nomination system: any GM can put a player up for auction
- Configurable closing window per player (e.g., 12h, 24h from last bid)
- RFA matching window integrated directly into the auction flow
- Commissioner can pause, extend, or close individual nominations
Dynasty Rookie Draft Board
Draft incoming NFL rookies. Build your future.
The Dynasty Desk rookie draft board runs every spring after the NFL Draft. GMs select incoming NFL rookies to their dynasty rosters in pick order. Rookie contracts follow a commissioner-configured salary scale tied to draft position — early picks carry higher rookie salaries, late-round picks are cheap. Draft picks are fully tradeable assets: buy and sell future picks at any time.
- Snake or linear draft order — commissioner's choice
- Salary scale auto-applied: pick position determines rookie contract value
- Pick trading: future first, second, and third-round picks are tradeable year-round
- "On the clock" notifications with configurable auto-pick timers
- Full draft results archived for every season
Trade Center
Multi-asset proposals. Cap validation. Full history.
Any GM can propose a multi-asset trade — players, draft picks, and contract rights in any combination. When a trade is accepted, cap hits transfer instantly and contract records update automatically. Commissioners can configure a review window with veto rights before trades execute. Every trade is logged in the league's permanent trade history.
- Multi-asset proposals: any combination of players, picks, and contracts
- Cap validation: proposed trades that would put either team over the cap are flagged
- Commissioner review window: configurable veto period (0–72 hours)
- Contract transfer: salary cap hits move to the acquiring team automatically
- Trade history: full archive of every trade across all seasons
Live Scoring & Standings
Powered by Sleeper. No manual entry ever.
Dynasty Desk pulls live weekly scoring from the Sleeper API, automatically updating matchup scores, standings, and stats throughout every Sunday and Monday of the NFL season. Playoff brackets generate automatically based on standings. The full season archive — every matchup, score, and stat — is preserved after each season rollover.
- Live scoring: real-time point updates every game day
- Configurable scoring settings: standard, half-PPR, full PPR, and custom
- Weekly matchup view with opponent comparison and score breakdown
- Full standings with record, points for, and points against
- Playoff bracket: auto-generated based on regular season results
- Full season archive: every season's results preserved permanently

Dynasty Desk gives commissioners granular control over every phase of their league. Set offseason milestone dates (holdover lock deadline, FA auction date, rookie draft date), manage roster overrides, configure league rules, and run season rollover. The league calendar is visible to all GMs so everyone knows what's coming and when.

Open League Format
No invite required. Join and compete solo.
Open leagues are commissioner-created leagues that solo GMs can join directly — no invite link, no knowing anyone. Commissioners publish the league with a fixed number of spots and a $25-per-GM entry fee. When all spots fill, the league activates. Open league decisions (rule changes, commissioner votes) are made democratically by majority GM vote.
- Browse and join open leagues from the public league directory
- $25 per GM — each player pays their own way
- League activates automatically when all spots are filled
- Democratic governance: GMs vote on key league decisions
- Same full platform as private leagues: contracts, cap, auctions, scoring
- Commissioner can manually activate before the roster fills
